Background:
Fortress Wood Products is a manufacturer of chemically treated wood products that offers a full range of excellent pressure treated wood products and preservative technologies that are essential in today’s marketplace for both commercial and residential building applications.

Challenge:
ER Marketing was challenged with refreshing Fortress Wood Products’ brand to help the company reposition itself for the future and for broader recognition amongst dealers. For their new branding, Fortress wanted to highlight their key differentiator—unparalleled levels of customers service, coupled with their high-quality products.

Solution:
Putting Fortress’ philosophy at the forefront, the concept behind their new branding revolved around a new tagline: Treated Above the Rest. This new messaging showcases the company’s dedication to providing wood that is treated to protect, and service that treats their customers with the utmost respect. This promise is reflected throughout Fortress’ refreshed identity, including their logo. Combining the spiraling lines of wood grain forming an “F” and the shape of a shield to signify protection, the Fortress logo is a classic symbol of the company’s name and values.

Summary:
Featuring Fortress’ new branding, ER Marketing launched their new look and messaging with an enhanced website, refreshed social media presence, new product packaging and identification, an impactful email campaign, an elevated line card and brochure and a hype video for social and internal announcement purposes.

Fortress’ new modern branding has been enthusiastically received by its employees, customers and others within the industry upon its initial launch.
