4 Marketing Strategies to Implement NOW for a Strong Start to 2019

It’s not too early to start thinking about your marketing strategy for 2019. In fact, ideally, you would already be hammering out the logistics, doing an analysis to determine if any changes should be made and finalizing the details so that you can implement it in 2019. But why wait? You can get a head start on 2019 by implementing some key strategies right now.

    1. Revamp Your Brand

There’s a reason why many brands launch—or relaunch—around the first of the year. That is a prime time for a refresh and a new start. Get a jump on the competition by doing a revamp and relaunch of your brand now—before 2019 rolls around. This doesn’t mean stripping the foundation that underlies your business, though.

Instead, use that as the building block for making changes. Maybe this means redesigning your logo, updating the look and design of your website or changing up the signage on your trucks. This step will create a buzz both inside your office and out. It’s also a very visual sign that your brand is both thriving and growing.

    2. Seek Out Strategic Partnerships

Get out your calendar for the rest of the year and look for opportunities where you can partner with related brands to leverage your business. Is there an open house coming up for the holidays? Do you have a client with a special project that you worked on that is going to be featured during a holiday tour? These are just a couple of ideas to get you started thinking. The purpose, though, is to look for areas where you can partner with other brands to create a unified strategy that benefits you both.

    3. Host a Podcast or Radio Show

While hosting a podcast might be the trendier option these days, don’t overlook the power of radio either. You could offer tips on projects that homeowners can undertake to make their homes shine for the holidays or offer suggestions on refreshing their living spaces to meet their needs better as the new year approaches.

    4. Go to Press

The above three ideas are all newsworthy items as they represent big happenings in your business. Create a professional press release that offers all the crucial details—how, why, when and where—so that others can join you. As an added bonus, a press release gives your brand more airtime and attention.
The possibilities of getting your brand’s voice out there ahead of 2019 are nearly endless. The four ideas highlighted above are really just an inkling of what’s possible—and highly effective!
