Careers

If you meet challenges with a positive outlook and a spirit of problem-solving, not problem-creating, you’re already one of us. Start—or continue—your career growth at ER Marketing.

Being a team member at ER Marketing puts you in charge of yourself. There is no inner circle or C-suite executives controlling all the decisions and ideas—you are free to bring your own.

Being a team member at ER Marketing means you’ll be seen as a person and not a salary line, so be ready to contribute, be accountable and let your inner cringe free.

Being a team member at ER Marketing means learning to balance what you need, what the agency needs and what we must deliver for our clients. Our people-centric benefits can help with the first part, your skills and commitment will help with the rest.

Being a team member at ER Marketing means adding to and molding our culture. Maybe you see yourself among the on-trend Gen Z folks who are curious, accountable go-getters. Or maybe you’ll add some sauce to the Gen Xers and boomers, who are curious, accountable go-getters. Or, maybe your culture vibe is among the millennials, loving their dogs and our in-office latte machine, who are curious, accountable go-getters.

You get the picture. We embrace diverse perspectives. We treat humans like whole people, with larger lives than our agency. We expect you to be the best of you.

And if you see yourself in the picture, let’s talk. Or just send us your résumé and we can start there.

Benefits

At ER Marketing, benefits are a first thought, not an afterthought. We’re long-time believers in work/life balance and benefits help create that equilibrium.

Unlimited PTO (Paid Time Off)

Because you shouldn’t have to over worry about taking time for your physical and mental health, or just those pesky dental visits.

Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance

100% of employee insurance is paid by the company.
Including a traditional PPO or Health Savings Account.

Maternity/Paternity Leave

Being a new parent shouldn’t be more stressful than it already is at baseline. We offer birth parents some great benefits, so everyone in the family gets off to a good start. ER Marketing pays the birth mom’s normal salary up to the date short-term disability starts, as well as the difference between what short-term disability covers, meaning mom will receive her full salary for 8 weeks. If you’re a birth dad, you get three weeks of PTO, with any further time off beyond being unpaid. If you want planned leave beyond the three weeks, discuss and plan with the dad’s manager, as far as possible in advance.

Short-Term & Long-Term Disability

Hey, you never know, but we want to protect you in case.
Again, 100% paid by the company.

Professional Development Fund (P.D.F.)

A fund to use for dues, subscriptions, conferences and the like.

Volunteering

Company volunteer days, which means we close the agency and volunteer and bond as a team for Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City.

Workers’ Compensation Insurance

(Oh, wait, this is required by law so everyone should have it.)

First-Time Home Buyer

We know the importance having a home is to everyone. We also know it can be overwhelming the first time, so we will help you with your down payment (often the hardest part to save for).

401K with Company Contribution

You get a company contribution regardless, but feel free to invest in yourself and your future by contributing as much as you like. Also, opportunity exists for additional contributions based on the agency’s profitability. Aka, profit sharing.

Pawternity Leave

If you adopt a pet from a shelter or animal rescue, take the first week at home to make your fur-baby feel at home and loved. And of course bring them in to meet everyone.

Adoptive Parents

Three weeks of PTO, with any further time off beyond being unpaid. Planned leave beyond the three weeks should be discussed and planned with the mom or dad’s manager, as far as possible in advance.

Paid Holidays

That’s part of what makes them holidays, of course.

Anniversary Bonuses

Everybody wins when you stick around.

Free Snacks

Snacks, lots of snacks. Salty, sweet, healthy, and sugary - we have them all.

Open Office

An open and inclusive office with a relaxed vibe, treadmill desks, pop-a-shot, a company bar, an espresso/latte machine and a snuggly spot for the office dogs.
